Can you believe it? This is the final Edit of the year! But before we love you and leave you, we have a cracking selection of patterns to share. Kate will be flicking through the latest Fibre Mood magazine, which is jam-packed with projects to make for winter. There are new bags to sew, an elevated sweatshirt pattern and plenty more top-notch items.
Fibre Mood Magazine Edition 36
Winter is with us, and as usual, Fibre Mood deliver the goods on the perfect projects for the season. This latest edition has 12 patterns and style variations for elegant, trendy and comfortable items for winter! Patterns are included for coats, jackets, dresses, tops, trousers, a skirt and a scarf.

French Navy Laken Jacket
The Laken Jacket has a modern, boxy fit with dropped sleeves and a zipper fastening. The pattern includes a spacious, three-piece drawstring hood and two pocket options. The jacket is unlined but impeccably finished, creating a casual yet refined piece that will be an invaluable addition to any wardrobe.
In the Folds Darlow Bag
The Darlow Bag is a crossbody bag with a twist! Designed to be worn on the front of the body or on the side (over the right shoulder), this bag is both stylish and practical. The perfect scrap-busting project, it can be made in a single fabric or in contrasting fabrics to highlight its unique curved panel seams. The bag is fully lined and features a side zip opening for the main compartment, a front pocket for storing smaller essentials, and an internal lining patch pocket.

Merchant & Mills Francli Weekender Bag
The perfect pack for weekend adventures. Big enough for a spare pair of sneakers but small enough to sling over your shoulder when you're running for the train.
Klum House Alberta Crossbody Tote
The Alberta Crossbody Tote is a beginner-friendly project that's just the right size for everyday use. It features an adjustable leather strap, a zipper with a leather pull, a lining, and an interior patch pocket, perfect for carrying your phone and a few essentials.
Madalynne Isla Bralette and Panty
Isla is a bralette and panty set with decorative lace panel detailing. The bralette is designed with scalloped lace along the neckline and underarm. A centre front panel offers additional support and helps prevent spillage. The set is completed with a high waist panty made in smooth stretch satin or lycra with lace side panels that match the bralette's design.
Madalynne Sharlett Dress
Sharlett is a fun and whimsical yet elegant mini to knee-length dress that has six godets for the ultimate flared hem. The bodice features bust darts to create minimal shaping. The neckline and armhole edges are finished with fold-over elastic, and the dress pulls over the head.
Madalynne Fiona Underwire Bra and Panty
This set includes a full band underwire bra with supportive four-part cups and a coordinating panty. The full band underwire bra with a top cup, two lower cups separated by a vertical seam, and a power bar for added side support, projection, and shaping. Fiona is perfect for sewists creating custom bras for fuller busts.

Named Aalto Sweatshirt
The Aalto Sweatshirt is the perfect everyday piece, defined by its distinctive details. Its loose, relaxed shape is created by a beautiful wavy front seam, slightly forward-curving side seams, rounded back sleeve seams, and a softly curved hem. You can highlight the shape by topstitching the seams.
Christine Haynes Eaton Dress and Blouse
Eaton is the perfect structured yet comfortable garment. The forward shoulder seam has gentle gathers that flow into a mid-calf length dress or a blouse that ends above the hip. The fitted neckline features a collar stand, and the dress neckline is topped with a rounded club collar. The only exposed seams on the interior are the armholes on the dress. The rest are fully enclosed. All the elements are also mix and match, so you can add and subtract the sleeves, collar, and collar stand as desired.
So that's a wrap for 2025! Thank you so much for watching and reading the Edit this year. We will see you in 2026 for more new sewing pattern updates!
