Note: All Klum House patterns are designed for success on a home sewing machine. You do not need a fancy sewing machine or industrial equipment to make these "domestic machine friendly" patterns.

Suggested fabrics: 

For the exterior, choose a fabric that will give the bag plenty of structure, such as a 9-12 oz. canvas, waxed canvas, or denim with no stretch. The designer’s favourite exterior fabric is waxed canvas for its structure, durability, and water resistance.

For the lining, use a 10-12 oz. cotton, canvas, or denim with no stretch. The designer’s favourite lining fabric is 10 oz. natural canvas.

All the leather pieces should be 5-7 oz. in weight. The crossbody strap is 1/2" wide.

Fabric requirements: 

Exterior: 60" or 45" (152 cm or 114 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Lining: 60" or 45" (152 cm or 114 cm) wide fabric: 1/2 yd (0.5 m).

Leather: 70" x 1/2" leather strapping + 10" x 1/2" leather strapping + 5" x 2" leather scrap.

Sizing: Finished dimensions: 7" H x 10" W x 3" D (18 cm x 25 cm x 8 cm).
