THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES - 22 MARCH
It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know, so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!
What a line-up I have for you this week! First up is a classic shirt pattern with timeless appeal, two trouser patterns that have the most incredible detail, plus a three-pattern drop from Atelier Brunette, and that's not all! You'll have to tune in to see the lot.

Tilly and the Buttons Frida Shirt
If you are thinking about sewing your own shirt, you can't go wrong with this classic option. Frida is an easy-going shirt with timeless details and a modern, relaxed fit. With two sleeve styles and hem lengths, it's a wearable and versatile addition to your me-made wardrobe.
Primrose Dawn Nyssa Top
Comfort is key with this easy-fitting panelled top. Designed for light to medium-weight stretch knits, Nyssa features a contrasting centre panel, long drop-shoulder sleeves with cuffs, and a high-low hem with a bottom band. Utilise your favourite fabric scrap, or add decorative stitches and embroidery in the centre panel.

Ready to Sew Emile Barrel Pants
Designed for confident beginners, Emile is an elastic waist pant that balances comfort and character. Simple to sew yet far from basic, it offers an approachable introduction to trouser-making while allowing you to create a garment with a strong identity.
Ready to Sew Elvis Assymetrical Pants
Designed for discerning beginners, Elvis is an elastic waist trouser with real character. Far from a basic design, it embraces structured simplicity, focusing on shape and style without compromising ease of construction.

Allie Olson Ponderosa Pants
We have seen makers searching for bottoms with a flat front and elasticated back, so this pattern might please anyone hunting for patterns that tick those boxes. These roomy bottoms have plenty of ease through the hips and thighs and feature a stretchy back waistband that sits just below the natural waist. A deeply pleated front leg and side snap closure provide the clean look of trousers.
Notches Pip Pouch
Pip is a practical belt bag designed to keep your essentials close at hand. Sew it in two sizes: a small version for coins and cards, or a larger pouch for sewing tools like snips and a seam ripper. Slide Pip onto an existing belt, pair it with the Filippa Bag, or sew a matching belt to create your own handmade utility belt.

Atelier Brunette Le Bermuda
These Bermuda shorts have a choice of two lengths: below the knee or mid-calf. They feature a high waist, zip fly, belt loops with a belt, and front pockets. Two darts and a patch pocket create a polished look at the back.
Atelier Brunette La Chemisette Structurée
This top has a relaxed fit that strikes the perfect balance between structure and lightness. It features curved front and back yokes, grown-on short sleeves, a stand collar, and a button placket.
Atelier Brunette La Veste Troublante
A unique piece, this jacket stands out with its unexpected crossover collar. It features a relaxed straight cut, asymmetrical three-button closure, and oversized patch pockets.
I hope you enjoyed that edit of new arrivals. I'll see you next week for another update!
