Buy the Nyssa Top sewing pattern from Primrose Dawn. Comfort is key with this easy fitting panelled top. Designed for light to medium weight stretch knits, Nyssa features a contrasting centre panel, long drop-shoulder sleeves with cuffs, and a high-low hem with a bottom band. Utilise your favourite fabric scrap, or add decorative stitches and embroidery in the centre panel.

Suggested fabrics: 

Self: Light to medium weight stretch knits: cotton/spandex jersey, bamboo/spandex jersey, french terry, double brushed poly, sweater knit, hacci, waffle, pointelle.

Contrast: Stretch lace, stretch mesh.

Fabric requirements: 

Self: 60" (152 cm) wide fabric: M sizes, 1 5/8 yd (1.5 m) // W sizes, 1 3/4 yd (1.6 m).

Contrast: M sizes, 11" x 19" (28 cm x 49 cm) // W sizes, 12" x 20" (31 cm x 51 cm).

Sizing: 0M – 6M and 5W – 12W (approx. UK 8 – 18/20 and UK 18 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 18" (46 cm) of fusible stay tape (or narrow strips of fusible interfacing) to stabilise shoulder seams; 12" (31 cm) of 1/2" (12 mm) twill tape or satin ribbon to stabilise back neck // Optional: embroidery notions, lace or ribbons for centre panel.
