Buy the Audie Playdress sewing pattern from Amy Nicole. The Audie Playdress is a fun, flirty dress with princess seams, spaghetti straps, a V neckline and three skirt options. View A is simple and features a scooped back neckline with back princess seams and an above-the-knee gathered skirt with in-seam pockets. View B has a trendy back cutout with a button and loop closure and a flared maxi or tea-length skirt. View C has a mini-length pencil skirt with a peplum tank overlay. Views B and C both have slash front pockets.

Suggested fabrics: The Audie Playdress looks great in light to medium weight opaque fabrics with drape and movement such as Tencel twill, washed linen, crepe de chine, rayon challis and lighter cottons.

Fabric requirements:

View A: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.6 – 3.5 yd (2.4 – 3.2 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 1.8 – 3 yd (1.6 – 2.7 m).

View B: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 5 yd (2.3 – 4.6 m) // 60″ (152 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 – 4.75 yd (2 – 4.4 m).

View C: 45″ (114 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 – 4 yd (2.3 – 3.7 m) // 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: 2.25 – 3.62 yd (2 – 3.3 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Note: Sizes 0 – 14 are drafted for a B cup. Sizes 16 – 32 are drafted for a D cup. All Amy Nicole patterns are drafted for petites (for women 5’4″ and under). Taller ladies may need to add length using the guides provided.

Notions: One 16″ invisible zipper (Views A and C) or one 7″-9″ invisible zipper (View B); invisible zipper foot (optional); one 1/2″ button (View B); 0.5 yd fusible interfacing (View B).
