Maison Fauve Prose Dress

Buy the Prose Dress sewing pattern from Maison Fauve. The Prose Dress features a beautiful scoop neckline with a button placket, and can be made with or without sleeves. The pleated skirt has large slanted Italian pockets, and the panelled design allows you to play with different lengths and fabrics. An elasticated back waistband means you can simply pull the dress on. The pattern also includes the option to make a skirt.

Long dress with sleeves: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-46, 280 cm // Sizes 48-52, 310 cm.

Short dress with sleeves: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-40, 230 cm // Sizes 42-52, 260 cm.

Sleeveless long dress: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-38, 230 cm // Sizes 40-52, 260 cm.

Sleeveless short dress: 140 cm wide fabric: Sizes 34-40, 180 cm // Sizes 42-52, 210 cm.

Skirt: 140 cm wide fabric: Long, 180 cm // Short, 130 cm.

Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 22, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 30 cm of fusible interfacing; 60 cm of contrasting fabric for the lower skirt; 210 cm of piping if you would like to highlight the seam between the upper and lower skirt panels; 12 mm buttons, 3 for sleeveless dress or 5 for sleeved version; 2 cm wide elastic.
