This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing for sizes 16-40: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Use a light to medium weight knit fabric such as jersey, pique knit, or interlock. Ensure the fabric contains elastane or spandex for good recovery and provides at least 50% horizontal stretch. For the ruffled placket option, use only lightweight knit fabric.

Fabric requirements:

Sleeveless polo shirt: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 2 1/8 yd (90 - 190 cm).

Sleeveless polo dress: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 3 yd (140 - 270 cm).

Add for short sleeves: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 3/8 yd (30 - 40 cm).

Add for long sleeves: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 yd (70 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3" (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use the full bust.

Notions: Lightweight knit tricot fusible interfacing; 15" (38 cm) of 1/2" (1.25 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or you may cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain); three 1/2" (12 mm) buttons or snaps; a 24" (61 cm)-long x 1" (2.5 cm)-wide bias strip cut from very lightweight, non-stretch woven fabric

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (41 pages for sizes 00-20, 48 pages for sizes 16-40); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 00-20, 5 sheets for sizes 16-40) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.
