Vikisews Viriam Dress

Buy the Viriam Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Viriam is a semi-fitted dress cut on the bias. The silhouette is shaped by vertical princess seams on the front and back with flounces in them. The left princess seam features a mid-thigh high slit. The round neck has a deep keyhole at the front with ties at the neck and bust. The long, two-piece sleeves are flared at the hem. The front seam of the sleeve features a flounce and a slit with ties at the bottom. Viriam is midi length.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Chiffon, crepe de chine, lightweight natural or synthetic silk.

The garment in the photos is made of blouse- and dress-weight chiffon. The fabric is lightweight, fluid, soft and with very little stretch. The fibre content is 100% silk.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 2.95 - 3.75 m (3 1/4 - 4 1/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.
