Sew Over It Hayley Dress and Top

Buy the Hayley Dress and Top sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The pattern includes two versions: a swishy midi dress and a high hip length top. Hayley is fitted neatly across the shoulders, and darts create the perfect fit at the bust, without losing movement through the body. The scoop neckline at both the front and back keeps the style simple, while an all-in-one facing gives a clean finish on the inside. Add the shaped tie belt to define the waist, or leave it off for a more relaxed silhouette. Quick to sew and even quicker to become a favourite, Hayley is summer dressing made easy.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics with lots of drape
such as viscose, crepe, linen, viscose linen or viscose twill. You could also use a more stable fabric such as a cotton lawn, particularly for Version 2.

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include only 10 cm (1/8 yd) buffer to avoid fabric wastage.

Sizes 6 - 20

1.15 m (44") wide fabric: Version 1 (sizes 6-14 only), 3.6 m (4 yd) // Version 2, 2.1 m (2 1/4 yd). 

1.40 m (55") wide fabric: Version 1, 3.5 m (3 7/8 yd) // Version 2, 2.1 m (2 1/4 yd).

Sizes 18 - 30

1.15 m (44") wide fabric: Version 1, N/A // Version 2, 2.1 m (2 1/4 yd).

1.40 m (55") wide fabric: Version 1, 3.7 m (4 yd) // Version 2, 2.1 m (2 1/4 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6-20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18-30 size range is drafted for a D cup.
