If you would like to order a printed A0 copy shop pattern, please complete your PDF purchase, then upload the A0 file for your chosen height here. For example, to print size 52 in height 4, upload the A0 file labelled ’52-4′. Note for designs with linings, you may need to upload two A0 files (one for the garment, and one for the lining). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Blended raincoat fabrics, outerwear fabrics, Dewspo.

For the insulation layer, choose 100 g/m² materials: Alpolux, Isosoft, Thinsulate, Holofiber, polyester batting (or use pre-quilted fabric).

For the lining, choose lining fabrics made of artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).

The coat in the photos is made of outerwear fabric with an added insulation layer. The fabric is medium-weight, pliable, soft, non-stretch, and water-repellent. The fibre content is 100% polyester. The insulation material is Alpolux 100 g/m² and is a blend of 15% wool and 85% microfibre. The lining is 100% viscose.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 3.6 – 4.25 m (3 7/8 – 4 5/8 yd) // 150 cm (59″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 3.1 – 4.1 m (3 3/8 – 4 1/2 yd).

Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.85 – 2.75 m (2 – 3 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options (PAPER pattern includes height 2 only):

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5’8″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 90 cm (35 3/8″). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Notions: 

– Insulation, 100 g/m², 150 cm (59″) wide, without nap, 3.25 – 3.95 m (3 1/2 – 4 3/8 yd)
