Liesl + Co Condesa Quilted Vest

Buy the Condesa Quilted Vest sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. This quilted vest adds a great finishing touch to your outfit while also providing extra warmth. Its design is oversized and boxy, so it can be easily layered. Choose two lightweight fabrics you love and quilt it yourself with batting/wadding in between. The vest has a stand collar and welt pockets (View A) or easier quilted patch pockets (View B). Add buttons or snaps, or skip them if you prefer.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics like cotton poplin, sateen, lawn, or voile, as well as linen, rayon, or silk. Keep in mind that you'll be quilting the fabric with a layer of batting/wadding in between two layers, so thick or stiff fabrics may become too heavy.

Fabric requirements: 

Outer: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 2 yd (1.4 - 1.8 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1 3/4 yd (0.9 - 1.6 m).

Lining: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m) // 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1 3/4 yd (0.9 - 1.6 m).

Sizing: XXS – XXL (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Light or featherweight fusible interfacing; five 1/2"-5/8" snaps or buttons. You will also need one twin-sized quilt batting/wadding (72" x 90"), which is enough to make two vests.
