Buy the Herman Blazer sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. This oversized blazer makes a statement. Suggested fabrics: This blazer looks its best in a fabric with enough body to give the oversized silhouette and pronounced shoulders shape. Think wool, a wool blend, gabardine, twill or a sturdy suit fabric. Jacquard can also be a real eye-catcher. Using (faux) leather instantly gives the sleek, rectangular cut a bold, contemporary look. Do make sure to choose a fabric that isn't too stiff so the blazer remains comfortable to wear. Avoid fabrics that are too thin or supple, as that extra bit of structure really allows the lines and details to stand out.
