Suggested fabrics: For View 1, light fabric such as viscose, tencel, rayon, polyester, cotton. The result will be different depending on the fabric drape, giving you many options. For View 2, you must use a tightly woven fabric that won’t easily stretch out of shape.

View 2: 55″ (140 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 2-8, 4.2 yd (3.8 m) / Sizes 10-16, 4.6 yd (4.2 m) // 43″ (110 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 2-8, 6.6 yd (6 m) / Sizes 10-16, 7 yd (6.4 m).

Size range 16 – 34

View 1: 55″ (140 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 16-24, 4 yd (3.7 m) / Sizes 26-34, 4.3 yd (3.9 m) // 43″ (110 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 16-24, 6 yd (5.5 m) / Sizes 26-34, 6.2 yd (5.7 m).

View 2: 55″ (140 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 16-34, 5.5 yd (5 m), without belt // 43″ (110 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 16-34, 7.7 yd (7 m).

Sizing: 2 – 16 or 16 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 18 or UK 18 – 36/38, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The sizes 16 – 34 pattern has been redrawn and tested specifically for plus size bodies. There is a size 16 in each range, and they are slightly different. Please check the size chart.

Notions: 0.5 yd/m interfacing for placket, collar, collar stand and cuffs; fifteen 9-11 mm buttons; 1 cm wide ribbon for tie belt if you don’t plan on cutting it from the same fabric as the dress.
