Buy the Alice Dress sewing pattern from Kate’s Sewing Patterns. This is a shirt dress with a band collar, bust darts and button placket. The straight skirt is gathered at the waist, and the sleeves have elastic at the bottom. You can make this dress with pintucks on the right side of the bodice (blue dress), or you can go for a simple version like the pink dress.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton, linen, wool.

Fabric requirements: 1.5 m wide fabric: 2.15 – 2.30 m.

Sizing: EU 34 – 54 (approx. UK 4/6 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 0.30 m of interfacing; 8 buttons; elastic for sleeves, 1 cm wide.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4 print-at-home pattern (25-40 pages depending on size); US letter print-at-home pattern (24-40 pages depending on size); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets).
