Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

If you like a little company while you sew and want to keep up with the hot releases.  You might want to hit subscribe and never miss a thing.

Our minds have been wandering to summer holidays and dreams of poolside lounging. The new Maison Fauve collection is perfectly timed if you are starting to think about sewing for a getaway. Maison Fauve‘s latest collection is pretty much all you need for a summer holiday capsule, and we are in love with it. Featuring tons of Maison Fauve signature details, the collection looks beautiful sewn up in bright, joyful colours. Now we just need a ticket to the South of France so we can dress up to sit by the pool!

This little top goes with everything and is perfect for every occasion. You can sew it with or without a button front. The assembly of the wide, lined straps also allows you to sew it in openwork fabric without a facing being visible. The Maison Fauve Salto Top is a fab wardrobe staple.

The Maison Fauve Haut Vol Dress features a defined waist, a neckline with yokes that give structure, and a skirt with two stitched pleats that create volume towards the bottom of the garment without accentuating the hips. The delicate cut-out on the front bodice is a signature Fauve detail.

The Maison Fauve Grand Bain Shorts feature a beautiful cut and sophisticated details, making them perfect for so many occasions. They are elegant in tweed, casual in cotton gabardine, or light and airy in a printed poplin.

The Maison Fauve Nage Libre Jacket is halfway between a jacket and a cover-up. It features a sleek straight cut, cropped and flared raglan sleeves, and a modern back yoke detail. The long version falls below the knee, and the short version is flush with the hips. It can be sewn with or without the collar.

The Maison Fauve Tremplin Trouser is a cargo style cargo with a cut that is comfortable yet tapered, with extra leg detailing and three bottom cuff finishes to choose from (straight, elasticated, or closed with a buttoned tab). The pocket details at the front and side legs are a very Fauve touch.
Sizing: UK 6 – 22
