Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

We were totally inspired by the glamorous Regency dresses in the Netflix series Bridgerton, and so was Sewing Patterns by Masin designer, Jasmin! Daphne is a stunning maxi summer dress that brings the Regency style right up to date. And, with A/B/C, D/E/F and G/H/I cups included with the pattern, you are sure to get a good fit.

Helen is delivering a pattern duo that goes oh-so-well together! The Cassidy Wrap Top is a fun and versatile pattern with two views you can easily mix and match to create your perfect wrap top. Oh, and you can wear the ties any which way you like!

The second is an essential item for any comfy wardrobe. June is an easy-to-sew elastic waist wide-leg pants or shorts with anchored in-seam pockets, or an overlapping petal short with a bias tape detail. That petal hem on the shorts is such a lovely detail.

The most whimsical share of the week is the Folkwear Beautiful Dreamer pattern. The inspiration for this delightfully feminine nightgown can be found in the 1902 edition of the Sears catalogue, the couturier of Rural America.

The nineties are having a moment in fashion and we spotted that they will be sewing a pair of these on the next episode of the Sewing Bee so if you want to get ahead, this is for you! The Wardrobe by Me Cargo Pants are a modern approach to classic utility pants with an exaggerated baggy fit and below-the-belly button waistline. They are packed with details that really accentuate the utility feel.

Another great new pattern from Wardrobe by Me is the Men’s Loose Linen Pants – an easy (to sew) and breezy style for summer. These casual pants or shorts have an elastic waist with a drawstring, in-seam side pockets, and a back patch pocket. The fit is relaxed and loose through the hip and thigh.
