Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

First up is an absolute must-have summer pattern! Lora is an empire waist dress with four views – plenty to keep you busy! They all have pretty underbust gathers, a self-lined bodice, and twelve delicate loop buttons to fasten. The True Bias Lora Dress is a brilliant piece for wedding guest attire, holidays or date nights.

I Am Patterns are known for delivering versatile patterns with plenty of options, but they have outdone themselves this time! Marty is a sewing pattern with a whopping 150 versions! You can make lots of different dresses, tunics and tops with one pattern. With so many possibilities, you can wear a different version for every occasion.

And another new addition from I AM Patterns that delivers on variations is the Chantal Bodysuit and T-shirt. Chantal is a timeless bodysuit and t-shirt with 24 versions to choose from – delivering all you need for a wardrobe of basic tops!

You might have noticed that we are rather into waistcoats at the moment, so we are thrilled with this new release! Bennie is a waistcoat with a v-shaped front neckline and side-slanted double jetted pockets inserted into the front princess seams. Perfect for layering or wearing on its own.

Rosie is an oversized shirt with a v-neckline and notched collar, grown-on sleeves, sleeve cuffs and four-button closure. The shirt has a wide back yoke and four back pleats. We’ve been waiting for a design like this to come along, and Bella Loves Patterns has delivered!

Finally, we have the Itch to Stitch Taroko Skirt, a wardrobe staple A-line skirt that sits at the natural waist. It’s packed with details such as the patch pockets which are integrated into the front princess seams.
