THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES – 21 MAY
Kate Underdown

Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

If you like a little company while you sew and want to keep up with the hot releases.  You might want to hit subscribe and never miss a thing.

First up is a pattern with the most incredible pockets! The Tessuti Fabrics Melbourne Trench is a classic style with a single-breasted front. Unlined, it features a button-through opening, inverted back pleat, curved patch pockets, collar and the coolest detail – a detachable hood. The perfect mid-season wardrobe piece!
Sizing: UK 8/10 – 24
Format: Paper

The Paradise Patterns Sommar Camisole is a tight-fitting top for knits with elastane. It features a built-in shelf bralette, front scoop neck and back straight neckline, or you can switch it around to have the straight neckline in front if you would like. The neck- and armbands are 1/2” wide and fully enclosed. You can choose hip or cropped hem length. You can also make just the bralette portion of the pattern for a bikini or yoga top.

Sizing: UK 4 – 32/34
Format: PDF

The Fitiyoo Sangria Swimsuit is a one-piece with a plunging neckline and pretty underbust drape. Its wide straps are comfortable and provide good support.

Sizing: UK 4/6 – 22
Format: PDF

Fancy trying your hand at a new sewing skill? The Juliana Martejevs Gigi Top features a hand-smocked front and an open ballerina-inspired back. This statement summer top is equally perfect for everyday wear and special occasions.

Sizing: UK 6/8 – 20
Format: PDF

We’re building up quite a collection of quilt patterns for those wanting to dabble in a new sewing craft and we are super excited about the Modern Handcraft patterns. The patterns are built around fun colours and shapes, and my absolute favourite has to be the Flower Shop quilt – perfect for any fellow flower fans!
Format: Paper

Next up is a rather fun collection of quilt patterns that feature really bold motifs. Rope & Anchor Trading Co patterns are designed by Tracy who lives in the South East, on a narrowboat which is also a floating studio, called The Little Boat. Quilting never looked so good!
