It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

Are you ready for a rather chic update? A big box of Maison Fauve patterns arrived this week, so I'll be giving you all the need-to-know details about what's new. From an elevated sweat set to blouses with to-die-for details, adding one of these projects to your sewing list is very tempting. I'll also be flicking through the latest issue of Quiltfolk Cats magazine. It's purrfect!

Quiltfolk Cats

There is nothing cosier than a cat curling up on a quilt, is there? This particular cat happens to be Mog, belonging to customer service champ, Mel . And, he happens to be the only UK cat featured in Quiltfolk Cats. Mog is partaking in his favourite pastime, curling up on one of Mel's handmade quilts.

This gorgeous magazine is perfect for cat and quilt lovers alike. This special edition of Quiltfolk magazine features an incredible collection of cat quilts (and also some cats with quilts).

This collarless coat slips on like a borrowed men's coat, but once belted has a feminine silhouette.The absence of buttons gives it a relaxed feel, while carefully crafted shoulder and back details add a refined structure.

Maison Fauve Silvana Skirt

The Silvana Skirt is a modern take on classic tailoring, blending masculine-inspired structure with a feminine silhouette. Its slightly flared cut and timeless midi length make it easy to wear, while the high front slit adds movement and elegance.

Maison Fauve Vittoria Shirt

With its delicate collar, polo-style button placket, and signature yoke details, Vittoria is both timeless and unique. The dropped shoulders and straight, slightly loose fit give it effortless style, while its length is perfect for tucking casually into a skirt or trousers.

Merchant & Mills Sunday Coat Addition

Make the Sunday Robe into a lined coat with this pattern add-on. Alongside the lining pieces, there is a new sleeve which works better with thicker fabrics and a new front facing/collar to enable thicker fabrics to roll nicely at the revere. In-seam pockets replace the original patch pockets.

NH Patterns Diana Dress and Top

Diana is a lightly tailored midi-length dress with a lapel and revere neckline. The dress has princess seams at the front and back and two armhole options. Choose between a sleeveless style with narrow shoulders, or a full shoulder seam and cap sleeves. Diana fastens with buttons down the front. The top is the same as the dress in design.
