THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES - 26 APRIL
It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know, so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!
We've got a delightful new label drop from Little Rosy Cheeks. An achingly cool bomber jacket with mix and match features and a surprisingly simple patternless skirt from Merchant & Mills.

True Bias Tobie Jacket
Tobie is an oversized bomber jacket with two views, a full lining, dropped shoulders, and a centre front zipper. Collars, pockets and bands can all be mixed and matched between views, so you can sew your dream jacket!
Itch to Stitch Brisas Pullover
The Brisas Pullover blends sporty style with thoughtful shaping, creating a comfortable layer you’ll reach for again and again. It features a stand-up collar with a half-zip front opening. Dropped shoulders and a relaxed silhouette give it an effortless feel, while front and back princess seams provide subtle shaping.

Merchant & Mills Penna Skirt
This patternless design is drawn directly onto the fabric and is suitable for beginners. The instructions will walk you through how to sew your own pencil skirt! Features include a deep elasticated waistband, front split, and in-seam pockets. It’s a total wardrobe staple that you will get loads of wear out of.
Sew Over It Harriet Skirt
Harriet is an easy-to-sew A-line wrap skirt featuring welt pockets in the forward side seams - the perfect mix of design detail and practicality. Harriet is secured with a button on the skirt front, and a hook and bar internally.

Oh Me Oh My Sewing Baby/Child Orion Overalls
These dungarees feature an oversized fit, unique yoke detail, adjustable straps, and patch pockets. There are shorts and pants length options, with optional elastic cuffs on the pants version. The pattern is drafted for 0-3 months up to 10 years.
Noodlehead Fieldstone Tote
You're going to love sewing this boxy carry-all tote. There are two sizes to sew – regular and mini – plus options for an interior hang zip pocket (View A) or a zip top with an interior slip pocket (View B).

Little Rosy Cheeks 'More of a Dog Person' Labels
A friendly blue-faced pup with a black nose, cheeky pink tongue, and crown of playful pink and orange florals brings instant charm to your handmade pieces. Turn it over for a simple paw print on the reverse. Perfect for adding a bit of humour (and truth) to your handmade pieces, whether you're sewing with your faithful companion at your feet or pausing to throw the ball just one more time.
Little Rosy Cheeks 'Textured Pastels' Labels
Pastel pink with chocolate brown lettering and powder blue with rich burgundy lettering, these labels are woven with a delicate, lightly textured finish that is more like fabric than a label. Soft, tactile, and quietly special.

Little Rosy Cheeks 'Sea of Dots' Labels
Set against a fresh lemony background with soft mid-blue polka dots, this playful label celebrates standing out. Look closely, and you’ll spot the twist - a single pink dot sitting inside the 'o' of polka…because doing your own thing is kind of the whole point.
Little Rosy Cheeks 'Home Sewn' Labels
This label pack leans into that homegrown feeling - slow, a bit wonky, and all the better for it. Think warm sunflower yellow, soft off-white, mid blue and chocolate brown - a colour palette that feels gently nostalgic.
