Kylie & The Machine 2025 Sweary Sewist Advent Calendar
If you get a little sweary in the sewing room, this year KATM has designed an advent just for you. Kylie has designed all new sweary labels for this very limited edition calendar, with lots of label styles and variations to pop into all your handmades. The sweary calendar features 30 premium polyester woven labels in 12 windows. These labels will ensure nobody ever borrows your clothes without asking!
Peek at all the labels inside in this reveal, but you must swear you won't spoil the surprise for your sewing friends!
Madswick Carol Blouse
Boy oh boy, this pattern is a beauty. If you are looking for a project to ease you into your autumn sewing, I can't think of a better option. With its easy fit, gathered scoop neckline, and relaxed raglan sleeves, Carol offers the perfect balance of comfort and style. Not just pretty to look at, Carol is packed with subtle design details including French seams and a hidden bias-bound finish on the neckline and sleeves, giving it a clean polished look both inside and out. Add lace/trim to the neckline and sleeves for a special touch
Itch to Stitch Clement Top
Perfect for transitional weather, Clemente looks equally great dressed up with tailored trousers or paired with your favourite jeans, tucked in or worn loose. The pattern has cup sizes for the perfect fit and all the little details make it a beautifully understated top. I can see this being a thoroughly useful top in your handmade wardrobe.
Modern Sewing Co. Naomi Blazer
If you're looking for a more advanced project to sink your teeth into this autumn, the Naomi Blazer is a fantastic option. It took 18 months from design conception to the final pattern, so you know each and every detail has been perfected. Tailoring is a tricky skill to master, but the designer has kept the core elements of blazer making while letting go of some of the more complex processes to create a piece that looks beautiful and is accessible to sew. You will be endlessly proud of your creation.
Liesl + Co Copenhagen Wrap Dress
An interesting twist on the traditional wrap dress, the details include a sarong-style skirt, billowy sleeves, and a blousey top that makes this design a statement piece. The forgiving fit is enhanced by pleats and darts, so you shouldn't have too much trouble nailing the fit. The neckline and skirt ties are especially secure on this dress, which means you can enjoy the ease of a wrap dress without the common exposure worries.
Fibre Mood Suvi Dress
Every season has its wrap dress, and this summer, Suvi takes the spotlight. This asymmetrical beauty features ties that are cleverly incorporated into the front and back panels. It's an elegant option for your special dos and do-nothings!
Fibre Mood Solaris Waistcoat
Sleeveless, tailored jackets are the must-have item of the moment, and Solaris is spot on for recreating the styles all over the high street. The princess seams give Solaris a flattering and feminine shape.
Fibre Mood Muriel Dress
This fitted, sleeveless midi dress is a real showstopper. The gathers running from the bust to the slit are pure magic! The bodice is fitted with elastic, while the skirt features a tie. The channels are made with bias tape, neatly stitched on the wrong side. Muriel has a concealed zip at the centre back, and the neckline and armholes are finished with a facing.
There's plenty to ponder there. Whether you want to ease into your autumn sewing with an approachable make or get stuck into a slow, skill-building project, we've shared some great options!
