Suggested fabrics: Carol works well in a range of lightweight woven fabrics. For a softer look with more drape, try something like rayon, tencel, or cotton voile. If you want a bit more structure that highlights the volume and gathers, fabrics like cotton lawn or poplin are a great choice. Linen also works well. 

Fabric requirements: This is an estimate. You may need more or less depending on your fabric, print, and width. 

Short sleeves: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.2 - 3 yd (2 - 2.7 m) // 52" (132 cm) wide fabric: 2.1 - 2.6 yd (1.9 - 2.4 m).

3/4 sleeves: 44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.4 - 3.4 yd (2.2 - 3.1 m) // 52" (132 cm) wide fabric: 2.3 - 2.8 yd (2.1 - 2.6 m).

Sizing: 1 – 15 (approx. UK 6/8 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a B/C cup and 5'6" (1.68 m) height.
