Great pattern

I wanted an easy to follow pattern for a work & casual skirt. The Manhattan skirt pattern hits the mark. Pattern choice was aided by detailed explanation added on The Fold Line - (thank you) being a PDF & the price. The time between ordering pattern & availability to download was seconds.

The pattern is over just 12 pages & no excess details included that swallow up printer ink - The pattern layout allowed me to draft between two sizes. 14 waist & 12 hips as I am a tree trunk. Pattern instructions were clear & easy to follow. Details regarding zip insertion are clear & lead to a nicely finished zip inserted in the waistband & facing.

Pocket sewing is also made easy due to detailed instructions. Who doesn't love pockets? Areas are highlighted to topstitch as optional. I did topstitch as it adds a neater finish & I am very pleased with the results.

I can say I will be using this pattern for more makes which I plan to do in denim as casual & suiting for work.
