Buy the Asymmetric Ruffle Skirt sewing pattern from Sewing Therapy. Combining the clean lines of a classic A-line cut with the playfulness of an angled hem and ruffles, this skirt reinterprets the tiered skirt into something fresh and modern. What sets this pattern apart is its clever play on panel orientation, offering two captivating silhouettes from a simple foundation.

View A (Dynamic Wave): By cutting identical panels for the front and back, the hemline flows in opposing directions across the body. The seam dips and rises from side to side, creating a spiralling, high-low sculptural line.

View B (Classic Angle): By cutting mirrored panels, the asymmetrical line runs diagonally from one side to the other, starting just past the knee on one side and tapering down into an elegant lower-calf sweep on the opposite side.

Designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind, both views feature a wide elastic waistband for an easy pull-on fit.

Sewing level: Confident beginner
