Suggested fabrics: Light to heavy weight woven fabrics (3-10 oz) with some structure. Look for fabrics such as Indian block prints, woven cottons, linens, cotton seersucker, denim, wool, cotton twill, corduroy, or canvas. The fabric you choose will alter the final result. Pick a stiff cotton twill or denim for a more rigid utilitarian look, or a soft linen for a more relaxed feel. Do not use an overly drapey or loosely woven fabric as this can distort the shape of the skirt.

Fabric requirements: This is an estimate. You may need more or less depending on your fabric, print, and width.
