Buy the Colleen Cape Dress and Top sewing pattern from Amy Nicole. The Colleen Cape Dress and Top is a fitted knit dress or top with a fun cape feature for extra drama. This pattern has a unique construction, with only two pattern pieces and two seams! Darts help with bust shaping, and elastic in the back opening ensures a comfortable and secure fit. The pattern is drafted with three lengths: a crop top, tee, and dress.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing for sizes 16 - 32: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabric with at least 70-80% 4-way stretch. The designer recommends rib knit, cotton spandex, double brushed poly, and stretch velvet. Fabrics with a higher amount of elastane, lycra, or spandex are preferable for good recovery.

Fabric requirements:

Sizes 0 - 14: Any width: Crop, 1 yd/m // Tee, 1.25 yd (1 m) // Dress, 1.5 yd (1.4 m).

Sizes 16 - 32: Any width for sizes 16 - 22 or at least 54" (137 cm) wide fabric for sizes 24 - 32: Crop, 1 yd/m // Tee, 1.25 yd (1 m) // Dress, 1.75 yd (1.6 m).

Note: Sizes 0 – 14 are drafted for a B cup. Sizes 16 – 32 are drafted for a D cup. All Amy Nicole patterns are drafted for petites (for women 5'4" and under). Taller ladies may need to add length using the guides provided.
