Veronica Tucker Cordelia Dress and Blouse

Buy the Cordelia Dress and Blouse sewing pattern from Veronica Tucker. This sleeveless dress and blouse is all about the corded ruching waist detail, which defines the waist without being figure hugging. The design features a round neckline, keyhole back opening, fully faced bodice, and side pockets. Choose from three length options: blouse, above knee, and midi.

Note: CORDELIA IS SLEEVELESS. But you can add sleeves using the Audrey, Hera, and Freya sleeve patterns (available to purchase together here). All you'll need to do is adjust the sleeve head gathering to fit the Cordelia armhole.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: The Cordelia pattern is designed for a mid to lightweight fabric such as a linen or compact cotton. But you can make it in whatever woven fabric you like depending on the look you're going for.

Fabric requirements: For non-directional fabrics. If you decide to use a fabric with a directional print, you will require extra fabric. 

150 cm wide fabric: Blouse, 2.5 m // Short dress, 2.9 m // Midi dress, 3.5 m.

If you are using a fabric narrower than 150 cm wide, you'll need to add 1 cm of seam allowance to the centre front and centre back and buy another 1.5 m of fabric.

Sizing: 8 – 28 (approx. UK 6/8 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been designed for a 5'9" (175 cm) height and a C cup bust.

Notions: 0.2 m of fusible interfacing; 1.5 m of 1.2 cm wide bias binding in a matching colour for the drawstring; rouleau loop turner.
