Buy the Ruta Sweater sewing pattern from Vikisews. Ruta is a comfy, loose-fitting, straight-cut sweater with an extended shoulder line and long, set-in sleeves. The boatneck is slightly V-shaped at the centre front and finished with a neckband. The sweater is mid-hip length. Shown here with the Ruta Pants.

Suggested fabrics: Sweater knits.

The sweaters in the photos are made of soft sweater knit. The fibre content is wool + polyester.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 160 cm (63″) wide fabric: 1.38 – 1.50 m (1 1/2 – 1 5/8 yd)

Sizing: XS – XL (approx. UK 4 – 16/18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Valery: Height 168 cm (5’6″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 97 cm (38 1/4″). Valery is wearing size S.

Model Anastasia: Height 171 cm (5’7″), Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 88 cm (34 5/8″). Anastasia is wearing size S.
