Buy the Carolina Culottes sewing pattern from Sew to Grow. The Carolina Culottes are the perfect blend of casual comfort and effortless style. This pattern features an elasticised back and flat front waistband designed to sit just above your hips. The front pleat adds structure, but also allows more room through the thigh area. Plus, the side pockets are designed to lie flat and not add extra bulk. This pattern features two length variations: pants and shorts. Enjoy making the Carolina Culottes in different fabrics for different seasons and occasions!

Suggested fabrics: Rayon, linen/linen blends, cotton, chambray and other light to medium weight woven fabrics.

Fabric requirements: Includes belt loop option. Subtract 2″ (5 cm) if not adding belt loops.

44″ (110 cm) wide fabric: Pants, 2.5 – 3.75 yd (2.25 – 3.4 m) // Shorts, 1.85 – 2.3 yd (1.7 – 2.1 m).

54″ (138 cm) wide fabric: Pants, 2.6 yd (2.35 m) // Shorts, 1.9 yd (1.75 m).

Sizing: 8 – 22 (approx. UK 8/10 – 22/24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 1/2 yd/m of lightweight fusible interfacing; 1 yd/m of 2″ (5 cm) elastic or 1.5 yd/m of 1″ (2.5 cm) elastic.
