Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

The Jameela jacket from Masin comes in two length options choose between hip length or cropped. There are loads of fantastic details in this jacket including two large welt pockets on the front and a box pleat at the back. It is a great option of you love a workwear jacket.

The Protea pants from Paradise Patterns would be a really great investment piece for 2023. The two styles give the trouser a completely different look, but both come with a wide leg. The trouser features a high waist, in-seam pockets and a curved waistband to get the fit just right.

It may feel a little too early to think about summer BUT this pattern has turned our heads. The Chloe dress from Sew Love Patterns has loads of fantastic details and comes with two variations.

Merchant and Mills have done it again with another fantastic pair of trousers. The Elling trousers look like a standard chino, but actually have an elasticated waist, which is such a fantastic feature.

They come in a PDF only format and are are available in sizes: 28-48

 

If January has you feeling like you want a speedy and cozy sew, then the Mila jumper from Tammy Handmade might be for you. It’s got a dolman dropped sleeve, a relaxed fit and is perfect for a jersey lover.

Sometimes it’s nice to start the year with an easy win! The Haslam hat from Thread Theory is the perfect afternoon project, we love the two variations for this hat, and will definitely keep your ears warm.
