Buy the Chloe Dress sewing pattern from Sew Love Patterns. Chloe is a beautiful party or summer dress that can be sewn in a midi or mini length. Both versions can be made with straps that tie into a bow or are fixed. The midi dress can be made with or without a slit at the front, and there are optional pockets that work with either length. The bust has gathering at the centre front and looks great in a contrast fabric.

Make Chloe in a pretty floral or polka dot for summer, or in a lush velvet with a contrast sequin bust for a fabulous winter party dress!

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight woven fabrics such as viscose, tencel, crepe, velvet, satin rayon and cotton. To get a floaty feel with the skirt, use a fabric with a fluid drape such as viscose or crepe. This will also gather beautifully at the bust.

Fabric requirements: The fabric amount given is for directional prints.

150 cm (60″) wide fabric: Midi dress, 2.2 m (2.5 yd) // Midi dress with pockets, 2.4 – 2.6 m (2.7 – 2.9 yd) // Mini dress, 1.6 – 1.8 m (1.8 – 2 yd) // Mini dress with pockets, 2 – 2.2 m (2.2 – 2.5 yd).

115 cm (45″) wide fabric: Midi dress, 2.5 – 2.7 m (2.8 – 3 yd) // Midi dress with pockets, 2.9 – 3.1 m (3.2 – 3.4 yd) // Mini dress, 2 – 2.2 m (2.2 – 2.5 yd) // Mini dress with pockets, 2.4 – 2.8 m (2.7 – 3.1 yd).

Sizing: A – H (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Sew Love Patterns sewing patterns are drafted for a sewing B cup and for a height of about 165 cm (5’5″).

Notions: 40 cm regular or invisible zip (instructions are given for a regular zip); iron-on interfacing, approx. 0.5 m.
