The Big 4 is now the Big 5… meet Know Me by Mimi G! Know Me patterns are designed by makers for makers. Created by super sewer Mimi G, Know Me releases designs dreamt up by talented makers from the sewing community, who work with the brand to see them realised!
The first collection of 12 patterns features designs for men and women, with dresses, separates, and outerwear. The incredible sewists themselves model the patterns!
The women’s patterns come in three size bands: UK 6/8 – 14, UK 16/18 – 26 and UK 28 – 34

Vikisews has dropped a mini collection of patterns perfect for New Year’s Eve celebrations. They really are show-stopping designs!
The second batch of Vikisews sewing patterns are available in paper format to snap up. The paper patterns include all sizes UK 6 – 20 for 5’5″ height (more height options are available with PDF styles, or you can use the lengthen/shorten lines on the paper patterns).
Vikisews paper patterns come with a multi-sized pattern sheet and QR code to access the instructions as a PDF to download and access whenever you need them. Very handy if, like me, you like to study instructions on the go before getting stuck in (I can’t be the only one who does this!).

We’ve had a big delivery of new designs from McCalls and Vogue full of lovely designs. From partywear to comfy casual clothes to smart pieces, there is plenty to peruse!

The eagerly awaited Birgitta Helmersson Bell Jacket has hit the shop, and we are in L-O-V-E. Tell me more, you say? The oversized Bell Jacket has a rounded collar, front button closure, three front patch pockets, an inverted box pleat at the centre back neck, and wide, darted sleeves to fit over all your winter layers. Oh, and it’s fully lined.
So what is zero waste pattern cutting? Well, it’s a bit like a puzzle that strategically plans your pattern pieces, so everything is used. You draw your pattern pieces directly onto your fabric, following a cutting plan and templates instead of using printed pattern pieces, resulting in less fabric and paper waste! ? Coat weather is here, so this new pattern is a very welcome addition to the shop. The Hey June Handmade Narva Coat is a relaxed fit outer layer designed for warm woollen fabric to keep you cosy and cute all winter. It’s packed full of beautiful details, like the features welt or in-seam pockets, an optional decorative lapel notch, stand collar. The Narva is designed to be worn open or fastened with an optional belt included keeping the coat bundled tight for colder temperatures. So no buttonholes (unless you really want to add them!)
