THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES - 30 NOVEMBER
It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know, so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!
This week, I am sharing my latest jacket crush, which is perfect for recreating a look that's all over the high street this season, as well as a selection of gorgeous new woven labels and a collection of PDF patterns from the popular TAUKO magazine.
Elle Stitch Winnie Jacket
Inspired by chore jackets and classic denim jackets, Winnie has a boxy shape, back yoke, and centre back seam. The front has the option of a front yoke and square or curved patch pockets. Winnie is the perfect pattern for recreating a barn jacket, a look that's all over the high street this season. There are plenty of pictures of Winnie sewn up in different fabrics, so you get a great idea of how it will look in different options.

TAUKO Greet Hat
Originally published in the first-ever TAUKO magazine, Greet is a warm trapper hat that protects your ears. Doubled padding in the visor and hem adds to the puffy feel of the hat, which you can alter by varying the thickness of the padding. It could make a really nice gift for someone.
TAUKO Lumi Jumper
Originally published in Tauko No. 12, Lumi is an oversized jumper with batwing sleeves, front pockets, and a bias detail at the back. The stripe detail lends the design a sporty vibe and offers an opportunity to play with colour. While originally designed for knit fabrics, Lumi seamlessly transitions to wovens. This versatile piece is both easy to make and easy to wear, and celebrates the simple pleasure of lounging in comfortable clothing.

TAUKO Nietos Coat and Jacket
This fab pattern was published in TAUKO No. 13, and now you can buy it as a standalone PDF pattern! Nietos is the ultimate coat or jacket to keep you warm in the winter or provide protection during the transitional seasons. This versatile pattern includes two variations, so you will likely make more than one!
TAUKO Panel Trousers
Originally published in TAUKO No. 3, Panel is named for the colour-blocked panels at the hem. You can play with contrasting colours or create a subtle effect using two different sides of the same fabric. Or you can leave off the panel completely, creating voluminous midi shorts to wear for summer trips. Choose the right fabric, and they can be dressy trousers that will coordinate with blouses for a smart look.
Little Rosy Cheeks 'Made in 2026' Labels
Mark your sewing achievements with these luxurious embossed labels. Each pack includes two designs: one in classic ecru and blue with an embossed date, and the other in rich blue with ecru text.
Little Rosy Cheeks Leopard Label and Patch Pack
Add a bold and unique touch to your handmade jeans, trousers, and bags with the Leopard Label and Patch Pack. This vibrant duo includes two woven labels and two machine-washable paper patches. Both feature bright red lettering on a striking leopard print background.
Little Rosy Cheeks 'This is the Back' Labels
This is a label that says what it means - over and over! It features a repeated 'this is the back' print in classic black typewriter-style text on a cream background. Ideal for makers who can never tell which side is the back!
Little Rosy Cheeks 'Fabulous / Woo Hoo' Labels
