Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

We’re thrilled to share that we are now stocking sewing patterns from The New Craft House! Hannah and Rosie are school friends who sell true designer deadstock fabrics and haberdashery as well as running sewing workshops from their London-based studio.

They launched an ‘everyday’ collection of patterns for women and men that are perfect for daily wear. Here’s a bit more detail on two of our favourites…

I have been waiting for someone to release a cool waistcoat pattern and here it is! You could have lots of fun with fabrication – choosing a different lining for the inside making it reversible or opt for a patchwork or quilted design. I can’t wait to make one!

This is the perfect everyday dress and top! This style has become increasingly popular in the sewing community and I think this one is spot on!

Pick between long or short puff sleeves and either a peplum for the top or a tiered midi skirt for the dress. Fitted on the shoulders then loose through the waist, this is the ultimate comfortable everyday style.

Nina Lee is back with a marvellous new sewing pattern – meet the Carmel Jumpsuit! The easy-breezy design can be dressed up or down and adds a pinch of elegance to your handmade wardrobe.

You have a choice of four lovely necklines, including the cute V-neck with curving collar. I reckon this jumpsuit would look great with a polo neck underneath for autumn!
