Happy Sunday Fold Liners! It’s time for your weekly dose of THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

If you like a little company while you sew and want to keep up with the hot releases.  You might want to hit subscribe and never miss a thing.

Introducing the sweetest sewing patterns you’ve ever seen… meet Papercute – the mini versions of some of Papercut Patterns’ most-loved designs. The collection included six stylish designs that fit ages 3 – 13 years so you can use them for years!

Pattern sizing: Ages 3 – 13
Format: Paper

ARRAY – This wardrobe essential offers three variations: a dress, top or jumper. Choose between a puffy bell sleeve with an elasticated hem, or a wide flared sleeve.
NOVA – The most popular coat in the sewing community made mini! Choose to make this cocoon coat in a lightweight fabric for a spring/summer version, or cosy wool for autumn/winter.

ASHLING – The Ashling Blouse and Dress is probably the cutest in the collection. Your little love will be the cutest kid at the party, as well as the cosiest!
REMY – The Remy Shirt is a useful pattern to have in your mini stash. Make it in a timeless shirting, or warm it up by making a shacket. This gender-neutral piece will be a fave for sure!

SOLAR – The Solar Tee and sweater is a year-round wardrobe staple and a super quick make! Perfect as a basic to throw on with any ensemble, or a little cuter with the frills on the sleeves or hem.
TULA – The Tula Pants pattern is probably the most versatile of all! Wear them long as cosy trackies, everyday casuals, sweet shorts, a little dressy for those special occasions, or even pyjamas.

  • Smock-style bodice with princess seams and gentle gathering under the yokes
  • Optional undulating tucks on the front yoke and sleeves (once you learn how to do this you’ll want to add it to all your makes!)

  • Keyhole back opening with button and loop

First on my sewing list is the blouse in a white floaty fabric that will go with everything!

We’ve got a fab new design from Marsha Style to share with you that would be a great addition to your workwear wardrobe! Meet the Alexis Pant, a mid-rise pant with a slouchy fit and feel through the body – they are oh-so-cool! The pattern is packed with details that elevate the finish – a fly front with a button or hook and bar closure, side slant pockets, front yoke and feature front side flaps. A self-fabric belt with a D-ring slider for adjustment is held in place by belt loops. We are in love!

Sizing: UK 6 – 26 – Size down one size, and the pant will fit as high-waisted, tailored pants. Note a size 0 has been included in this pattern so a size 2 person can size down.

There is SO much to love about Shelby… wouldn’t you agree? The True Bias Shelby Dress and Romper is a stunner. The V-shaped neckline, front button opening, and back waist tie give a lovely silhouette. You can make Shelby as a mini dress or longer dress that ends around the ankle or a cute mini-length romper that can also be hemmed just above the ankle for extra drama! We now have Shelby in two size ranges in the shop –

Sizing: UK 6/8 – 18/20 or UK 16 – 34

Format: PDF (UK 6/8 – 18/20 Paper)
