THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES – 12TH MAY
It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!
Sewing Patterns by Masin – Heidi Pants: are super high waist, wide leg pants or jeans. The pattern includes three length options: full length, ankle length and shorts. The front patch pockets give the pants a playful look. The back features a yoke and two more patch pockets.
Quiltfolk – Issue 30 Georgia: Quilters, artists and designers graciously opened their homes, shops and communities to Quiltfolk for this latest issue, providing a glimpse into the state’s history, talent and supportive spirit.
Selvedge – Issue 118 Hand in Hand: This issue focuses on the importance of teamwork and working hand-in-hand with others.
The Modern Sewing Co. – Men’s Worker Trousers: These are the ultimate everyday trousers and the perfect alternative to jeans all year round. The Worker Trousers are gently fitted at the hip with a slight balloon in the leg for volume and comfort, before tapering towards the ankle.
Sew Over It – Xanthe Skirt has all the features of a classic denim skirt, plus some extra Sew Over It touches! Featuring a zip fly, waistband, belt loops and shaped back yoke, Xanthe is fitted at the waist and hips, with a straight fit on the legs. Choose between two lengths: a mini skirt, or a midi skirt with a stylish front slit for ease of movement.
Silversaga Patterns – Eleonora Dress is a romantic summer dress inspired by vintage chemise dresses, but with a modern take making it more suitable for everyday wear. The dress is adjustable with ties and elastic at both the neckline and waist, and the pattern comes with A/B and C/D/E cup size options.
Petits D’om – Ipanema Swimsuit is a one-piece swimsuit. The back neckline is quite low, and the straps can meet at the centre back or be crossed. You can add a bow to the base of the straps. An optional gathered ruffle embellishes the straps, extending over the shoulders. Ipanema can be sewn with a sewing machine or an overlocker/serger.
Petits D’om – Thalassa Swimsuit is a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit. You can add frills at the thighs, and a gathered ruffle at the waist of the two-piece swimsuit or on the bandeau. Thalassa can be sewn with a sewing machine or an overlocker/serger.
JULIANA MARTEJEVS – Basic Long Sleeve Top: This simple fitted tee is so versatile – a great building block for your capsule wardrobe.
