True Bias Darla Dress + Jumpsuit: If you want to sew something for a special occasion or holiday, the Darla Dress or Jumpsuit might fit the bill. There are plenty of options to play with, including this gorgeous tie back closure. The jumpsuit is one of the best I've seen and I reckon you could layer a jersey top underneath when it gets cooler.
Nina Lee Mariposa Bow-Back Dress: Still hunting for a summer dress? With a a triple hit of drama thanks to the big puffy sleeves, a three-tiered skirt and a fabulous bow to fasten the back - there is lots to love. And with no other fastenings, Mariposa is easy to sew and fit.
French Navy Circa Overalls: With a relaxed, slouchy fit and practical utility details, this is a cleverly reimagined take on classic workwear. You'll find a touch of femininity added through the partially elasticated waist and tapered leg. If you have been pondering the idea of sewing a boilersuit, this is a great pattern.
Merchant & mills Niven Dress or Shirt: A classic blouse is a very useful thing to have in your wardrobe and this is a great example of one. Niven has an oversized fit and features a bib, grandad collar and cuffed sleeves. The dress is an easy-to-throw-on piece for all seasons.

Puff and Pencil Copenhagen Skirt: This asymmetric front wrap mini skirt reminds me of the late nineties/early noughties where skirts over trousers was a thing. The pattern has been designed to either wear on its own or to style it over pants for that cool Copenhagen look (shown here with the Versa Pants).
JULIANA MARTEJEVS Zola Top: Looking for an easy top for your summer holiday? Zola is reversible ruched tube top is so comfortable in the summer heat and a great sewing project for beginners - maybe a summer project for a teenager wanting to take up sewing?
Little Rosy Cheeks Ettle Dress and Top: I think this is a great little summer piece for a kid. It's sweet, but not too frilly and will be really comfortable to wear. The pleated front and elasticated back add extra flair. Ettle has adjustable straps and a deep hem so it can grow with your child.
