DESIGNERS TO DISCOVER IN 2026

We introduced a multitude of fantastic new designers to the shop in 2025. We are passionate about supporting independent pattern designers and offering you innovative patterns to sew, so the cast of 2025 deserves another moment in the spotlight.

You may recognise some of them, or you may be discovering a brand-new-to-you gem! They all have some wonderfully individual qualities in their patterns. We hope you’ll enjoy scrolling through some of their designs and that you discover something new today.

Cris Wood Sews

Cris Wood Sews is for sewists who want to replace size charts and paper pattern pieces with size inclusiveness and sustainability. The garments are made up using only squares and rectangles. In this way, each pattern piece can be sized to your specific and unique measurements – without the need for paper pattern pieces. There is nothing to print, cut or tape. The piece shapes are drawn directly onto your fabric, and the layouts maximise fabric usage.

The patterns are excellent for beginners and confident beginners because they use only straight seams and don't require any closures like buttons or zips. Creating custom garments while reducing waste sounds pretty great, doesn't it?

Sizing: Custom sizing.
