Maisa Denim Jacket

Reviewed by georgiefw on 2nd April, 2017

This is a great denim jacket pattern – whether you make it in recycled jeans as I have here, or go out and buy some denim. The whole garment is topstitched, which is quite time consuming but looks great when you’ve finished. I struggled a little with the sleeve placket and waistband, but other than that there was nothing too challenging. I found that basting the seams rather than pinning before topstitching helped here. If you are a big fan of pockets I would recommend adding some at the side seams, as the breast pockets have a restricted opening and you can’t fit much in.
