If you would like to order a printed A0 copy shop pattern, please complete your PDF purchase, then upload the A0 file for your chosen height here. For example, to print size 52 in height 4, upload the A0 file labelled ’52-4′. Note for designs with linings, you may need to upload two A0 files (one for the garment, and one for the lining). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Coating-weight cashmere or wool, heavyweight tweed.

For the lining, the designer recommends using artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).

The coat in the photos is made of coating-weight cashmere. The fabric is medium weight, soft, malleable, non-stretch, and has a low pile. The fibre content is a blend of cashmere and wool. The lining’s fibre content is a blend of viscose and polyester.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 3.05 – 3.85 m (3 3/8 – 4 1/4 yd) // 150 cm (59″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 2.55 – 3.35 m (2 3/4 – 3 5/8 yd).

Lining: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 2.05 – 2.8 m (2 1/4 – 3 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

The PDF pattern includes 4 height options:

Height 1 = 154 – 160 cm (5’1″ – 5’3″)
Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)
Height 3 = 170 – 176 cm (5’7″ – 5’9″)
Height 4 = 178 – 184 cm (5’10” – 6′1″)

Model Sofia: Height 172 cm (5’8″) / Bust 84 cm (33 1/8″) / Waist 64 cm (25 1/4″) / Hips 90 cm (35 3/8″). Sofia is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Notions: 

– Woven or knit interfacing, 140 cm (55″) wide, cut in any direction, 1.6 – 1.9 m (1 3/4 – 2 1/8 yd)
– Five snaps, 2.5 – 3 cm (1 – 1 1/8″) diameter
– Matching thread
