THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES - 5 OCTOBER

It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

Your sewing list is about to grow as we have TWO new designers to share with you in today's Edit. Both fun of charm and personality... I challenge you to resist adding them to your favourites! If that wasn't already enough, I'll be taking you through a rather sporty Fibre Mood magazine. It's an unmissable update!

Spaghetti Western Sewing

Spaghetti Western Sewing is a one-woman show run by Sadie Egan, a self-taught sewist and pattern designer.

Spaghetti Western Patterns are inspired by vintage styles re-interpreted into unfussy, comfortable garments that are fun to sew and more fun to wear. Make sure to give Sadie's Instagram account a follow because she's a hoot!

Pattern sizing: EU 32 – 60 (approx. 6 – 34)

Syd Graham Patterns

Syd Graham Patterns was born after getting hooked on sewing when sewing her daughter's baby blanket... and the rest is history. Syd creates approachable patterns that encourage newbies to join the sewing gang. Syd's YouTube channel is full of fun sewing vlogs and sewalongs for her patterns.

Pattern sizing: 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 36)

Fibre Mood Special No.4 - Sports

The latest Fibre Mood special has landed and it's a must-see, must-sew edition! Making sportswear sophisticated, these athleisure-inspired patterns are really useful for autumn.

This special edition has 16 patterns and many styling ideas for sportswear and athleisure! Patterns are included for tops, sweatshirts and jumpers, jackets, jogging trousers, leggings, and shorts. A number of the patterns are unisex, making it a versatile issue.

The patterns come on pull-out A1 sheets that are folded and stapled into the magazine. They are overlaid and colour-coded, which makes them easier to trace off.

I hope that's left you brimming with inspiration! Enjoy browsing the newest sewing pattern releases.
