THE EDIT: NEW SEWING PATTERN RELEASES - 29 SEPTEMBER

It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

It's a corker of a week with a peek inside the latest Fibre Mood magazine, a look at the Atelier Jupe winter collection and a new pattern from Itch to Stitch that we suspect you will love!

Fibre Mood Edition 30

Fibre Mood edition 30 has landed and is packed with projects for your autumn wardrobe. With patterns for dresses, tops, trousers, a skirt and jacket, you get great value for money.

This issue features 12 patterns with variations so there are plenty of projects to make. We are particularly taken with Abina - the quick and useful top, Deliz - the grown-up pinafore, Elsie - the transitional jacket or gilet, Fautsa - the pleated skirt with Toast vibes and Jess - the belted beauty on the cover.

The patterns come on pull-out A1 sheets that are folded and stapled into the magazine. They are overlaid and colour-coded which makes them easier to trace off.

Atelier Jupe Winter Collection

The winter collection is easy to wear and style, Coco + Gabrielle is an elegant combo and Julia is sure to become your fave pullover.

COCO - Are you searching for a winter skirt to wear on repeat? The Coco Skirt offers both plain and playful options so you'll want to make more than one.

GABRIELLE - The Gabrielle Blouse is elegant with a touch of fun thanks to the flounce down the front and back. A print makes it pop but a plain will show the details off.

JULIA - Are you in need of a warming fleece? The Julia Sweater has playful seamlines that are perfect for colour blocking, and secret pockets are incorporated into seams at the front.

Itch to Stitch Ladera Dress

This new arrival is something many seem to have been hunting for and Itch to Stitch has nailed it. The Ladera Dress combines comfort and style in a shirt dress with a twist that you can wear for all kinds of occasions. The relaxed fit is elegantly balanced by a waist-defining front tie. You can opt for a short sleeve or long sleeve which makes it seasonably versatile. The pattern also comes with A-DD bust cup options to help get a great fit.
That's all for this week (and what a good one it was!), we will see you next week to share the details on more new sewing patterns.
