It’s time for your weekly dose of The Edit: New Sewing Pattern Releases. This blog and vlog highlight some of the new arrivals to hit the shop this week. Kate natters about all the details you need to know so if you’re a pattern nerd like we are, this is for you!

Set sail on a new sewing project with sailor-chic vibes and intricate details. A new Maison Fauve collection has dropped and I promise it will delight. There are two new wardrobe staples from Tessuti Fabrics and a Matchy Matchy set with vintage vibes.

Maison Fauve Le Rivage Collection

The latest Maison Fauve collection is here, and I have one word for it - dreamboat. Le Rivage is a sophisticated reimagining of a sailor’s wardrobe resulting in chic designs infused with nautical details in a very Fauve way. There are two blouses, a dress, jacket/ coat and trousers in the collection - all can be styled together. If you have a cruise on the cards, you must take a look!  

Matchy Matchy Sewing Club High Tide Set

Vintage vibes - check! The right amount of girlie - check! Easy and intermediate sewing options - check! That's three big ticks for the High Tide set - a fun two-piece that can be worn together or styled with other bits in your wardrobe. The top features adorable micro puff sleeves and can be sewn as a cropped blouse or as a longer top. 

Tessuti Fabrics Avoca Top and Tessuti Fabrics Avery Skirt 

There are TWO new Tessuti arrivals, and both are absolute wardrobe staples. The Avoca Top is a quick-to-sew essential. It's a modern loose-fitting top designed for knit fabrics, while the boatneck gives it a classic look. The Avery Skirt is a gore panel skirt that skims the hips before flaring out. It is a useful piece to have in your wardrobe.
