Suggested fabrics: Linen, fine cotton, voile, cheesecloth, poplin, chiffon, satin. Fabrics which are soft and have some drape are ideal - stiff fabrics will change the look and feel of the fit. // Style C features a cowl neck and requires fabrics with a lot of drape, such as crepe, chiffon, and light rayons. Some drapey fabrics, such as satin, also have 'body' and may work, but won’t fall into folds in the same way as more fluid fabrics.
Fabric requirements: 150 cm wide fabric: 1.7 m // Amounts vary according to style and whether you have sleeves. If your fabric has a nap or a directional print, you may need extra fabric.
Sizing: 6 – 26 with cup sizes A/B/C, D/E, and F/G. Please check the size chart. Select size based on bust measurement. This blouse is easy fitting, so if you are between sizes, you may like to size down.
To determine your cup size in Pattern Union patterns, subtract your upper bust measurement from your full bust measurement. If the rounded difference is 2.5 – 7.5 cm (1 – 3″), use A/B/C cup. If the rounded difference is 7.5 – 12.5 cm (3 – 5″), use D/E cup. If the rounded difference is 12.5 – 17.5 cm (5 – 7″), use F/G cup.
Notions: Thread // Style A: Pair of tassels // Style B: Wing needle // Style C: Two 1 cm (3/8") shank buttons.
