True Bias Brynn Cardigan

Buy the Brynn Cardigan sewing pattern from True Bias. Brynn is a fitted cardigan with a V-neck and front button opening. View A is sleeveless, View B has short sleeves, and View C has long sleeves. All views can be sewn in three lengths: cropped (ending at the natural waistline), hip length, and dress length (ending a few inches above the ankle). The dress has a centre back seam for extra shaping.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight stretch fabrics such as rib knit, sweater knit, and jersey fabrics. The fabric must have at least 60% stretch.

Cropped: 45" and 54" (114 and 137 cm) wide fabric: View A, 1 yd (0.9 m) // View B, 1.2 yd (1.1 m) // View C, 1.8 yd (1.6 m).

Hip: 45" and 54" (114 and 137 cm) wide fabric: View A, 1.2 - 1.4 yd (1.1 - 1.3 m) // View B, 1.5 - 1.7 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m) // View C, 2 - 2.2 yd (1.8 - 2 m).

Dress: 45" and 54" (114 and 137 cm) wide fabric: View A, 2 yd (1.8 m) // View B, 2.2 yd (2 m) // View C, 2.8 yd (2.6 m).

Sizes 14 – 32  

Cropped: 45" and 54" (114 and 137 cm) wide fabric: View A, 1.5 yd (1.4 m) // View B, 1.8 yd (1.6 m) // View C, 2.2 yd (2 m).

Hip: 45" and 54" (114 and 137 cm) wide fabric: View A, 1.8 yd (1.6 m) // View B, 2 yd (1.8 m) // View C, 2.3 yd (2.1 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 18 or US 14 – 32 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20 or UK 16 – 34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size charts and finished garment measurements.

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The 14 – 32 block has a slightly more curvy set of dimensions than the 0 – 18 block. The 14 – 32 block has a D instead of a C cup (meaning a 4" rather than a 3" difference between your full and high bust) and has a 1" larger difference between the waist and hip circumference. Both size ranges are drafted for an average height of 5'5".
