Buy the Tobi Tote sewing pattern from WISJ Designs. Tobi is a reversible tote bag in two sizes with a side pocket. It’s the perfect beach bag. The maxi version is big enough for a large beach towel, swim gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a good book as well as some snacks and a water bottle. The mini version can also be used as a handbag (and laptop bag as well). A good all-round size, that mini. Because Tobi is reversible, it has two different styles to it, depending on which side you want to be the outside. All that in one sewing project!

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Thicker, non-stretch fabrics such as canvas, sturdy cotton, corduroy, teddy, oilskin. The lining works well with, for example, canvas, cotton, viscose.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: Mini: 1 m of main fabric + 1 m of lining fabric // Maxi: 1.2 m of main fabric + 1.2 m of lining fabric.

Sizing: Mini: H 29 cm x W 28 cm x D 17 cm // Maxi: H 38 cm x W 36 cm x D 22 cm.

Notions: 1 m (mini) or 1.2 m (maxi) of interfacing (optional – if you choose sturdy fabric, you don’t need to reinforce the bag).
