Elbe Textiles Davis Crossbody Vest

Buy the Davis Crossbody Vest sewing pattern from Elbe Textiles. The Davis Crossbody Vest is a fully lined vest/bag hybrid. The asymmetrical design fits over one side of the torso and swoops down to snap together at the waist. It features one pocket with a zipper opening and is finished with press stud closures.

The pattern has been drafted on three different blocks. The design lines and style are the same, but the fit has been changed to suit different body shapes. Block 1 suits a B cup, Block 2 suits a C/D cup, and Block 3 suits a flat chest.

Main: Structured mid to heavy weight fabrics. Denim, canvas.

Lining: Mid weight woven fabrics. Cotton, linen, etc.

Sizing:

Block 1 (B cup): Women's A – N (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Block 2 (C/D cup): Women's A – N (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Block 3 (flat chest): Men's AA – M. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has two cup size options: a B cup and a C/D cup. To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust. The difference between the two measurements will tell you your cup size.

5 cm (2") difference = B cup
7.5 cm (3") difference = C cup
10 cm (4") difference = D cup   

Notions: One 25 mm (1") D-ring; 4 cm (2") of 25 mm (1") webbing (or use main fabric); two snap fasteners; one closed end zipper, 15 cm (6") for Blocks 1 and 2 or 16 cm (6.3") for Block 3; light to mid weight iron-on interfacing for reinforcing zip opening and snaps.
