Buy the Molly Skirt sewing pattern from Fieldwork Patterns. Molly has no zip making it a great choice for a new maker to achieve a lovely, wearable, softly pleated skirt. It has a clever concealed opening within the left pocket and flattering soft pleats into a waistband.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cottons and cotton mixes, linen and linen mixes, lightweight denims.

Fabric requirements: 112 cm (44″) wide fabric: 148 cm (58″) // 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 120 cm (47″).

For a longer skirt simply add the length parallel to the hem of the front and back pattern pieces. Allow double the extra length added to the amount of fabric required. Therefore if you would like a skirt 10 cm longer than the pattern, you will need to allow for 20 cm more fabric use.

Sizing: UK 6 – 20. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 15 cm of medium weight interfacing; two 15 mm poppers (snaps) or buttons; matching sewing thread.
