Buy the 256 Child/Adult At the Hop Outfit sewing pattern from Folkwear. Get ready to rock around the clock with this fabulous 1950s blouse, skirt and cardigan! The pattern includes a blouse with a Peter Pan collar and an easy-to-sew circle skirt. The skirt can be appliquéd with a poodle or alpine design (instructions and designs are included for both) or you can design your own appliqué. Instructions are also included for a knitting a cardigan with a choice of poodle or skier motifs to match the skirt. See you at the hop!

Suggested fabrics: 

Skirt: Felt is the traditional fabric, but it also works well in sturdy cotton and blends, wool, rayon, and gabardine.

Blouse: Crisp light to medium weight cotton and blends.

Girls' Skirt: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 - 3 1/2 yd (1.6 - 3.2 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/8 - 3 1/8 yd (1.3 - 2.9 m).

Women's Skirt: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 3 5/8 - 3 7/8 yd (3.3 - 3.5 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 3 1/4 - 3 3/8 yd (3 - 3.1 m).

Girls' Blouse: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 - 1 1/4 yd (0.7 - 1.2 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 3/4 - 1 yd (0.7 - 0.9 m).

Women's Blouse: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 2 1/8 yd (1.2 - 1.9 m) // 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1 1/2 yd (0.9 - 1.4 m).

Sizing: 4 - 14 years and Women's 6 – 24 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Skirt: One 7" (18 cm) zipper; 1/8 yd (12 cm) interfacing or 1 yd (92 cm) waistband interfacing // Optional for woven fabrics: 7 yd (6.4 m) hem tape.
