Buy the Men’s Lightspeed Leggings sewing pattern from Fehr Trade. These leggings are specifically designed for active men, with a roomy front pouch, rear panel with optional zippered pocket, and elasticated waistband. The one-piece leg has no side seams to interrupt a crazy print, and your choice of biker short or full length means they can be worn all year round, even as base layers or underwear.

What we think: This is a fantastic pattern for any man who loves to wear a bit of Lycra on his bike! We like that it comes with two versions: one for a less advanced maker (the basic shorts or leggings) and one for an intermediate maker (with the zippered pocket).

Suggested fabrics: Lycra with at least 50% stretch in both directions and good recovery.

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: Full length leggings, 1.10 m (1 1/4 yd) // Shorts, 80 cm (7/8 yd).

Sizing: XXS – XL. Please check the size chart. It is recommended that you select a size based on your hip measurement.

Notions: Less than 1 m of 2 cm (3/4″) woven (braided) waistband elastic; 13-15 cm (5-6″) plastic zipper and sewing machine zipper foot (for optional pocket); 30 cm (12″) of lightweight fusible interfacing, approx. 2 cm (1″) wide (for optional pocket); twin needle or coverstitch for elastic edges and hem.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (19 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet); projector file.
